Another great day working with the team at BES Racing Engines!

Turkuila Sunrise, one of our all time favorite Drag Pak engines, is coming back after a long two and a half year rest. Back in early ‘23 it’s only pass after a refresh, ended badly. And while the OG Blackbird didn’t fair as well, the first dyno pull today clearly demonstrated Turkuila, is no worse for the wear and is ready to get back in a slightly different game.

We tuned it up a bit from its Factory Showdown duty to give us a little 366 G3 to put in Michael Judd’s soon to be Ultra Street entry, his beautiful Duster. It should give us a starting point and a sense of how much of a knife to a gunfight this small displacement G3 Hemi will be there. Get them zoomies done Michael, after some more upgrades tomorrow, I think we’ll have something to work with.

Then, through the night and rain, Brian Bednar pulled an all nighter to bring us his 420 G3 Hemi from Florida. We are totally pumped about working with him to find more.

Last but not least, there was Skyline, and God willing, we will be back at all of it tomorrow.
