Lots happening at BBP!

Thankful for a day of great progress yesterday, even more thankful for those who help create it.
Back with the progress and power making partners at BES Racing engines and back at the home shop, Jena and Keaton, all just getting it done.
Having seen our Race Spec 700+, Brian Bednar knew his engine, full of great parts, more cubes and compression, should be performing better. He dropped it off so we could help sort it out. The baseline pull up to 6500 confirmed what the track had said, it was making power about the same as the Race Spec 700+. Working through a number of changes, larger carbs, different tuning we found 30-40 more but the dyno and data confirmed one cylinder with excessive leak down and a valvetrain going unstable at about 7,000. After getting the great bits he has, properly adjusted / changed to play well together, we think there is another 30-40 more and 770+ should be achievable, perhaps onto the promised land of 800.
While we were sorting that out, the dynamic duo of Jena and Keaton were gettin’ ‘er done at the home shop. Keaton well into disassembling and harvesting our gray street ‘19 Challenger that was wrecked and between the two of them, revamping the shop to make room for more. And when a bunch more arrived, Jena carefully unloaded the semi that showed up and Keaton organized the fantastic and much needed shipment containing the great factory building blocks of power that underpin all this G3 Hemi awesomeness.
Blessed to get up and get to work on a lot of very cool G3 Hemi powered dreams with this team.
