Most of us could use some horsepower to get through hump day, so it was great to be back with the team this Wednesday at BES Racing Engines to put another of our Race Spec 1,300+ through it’s paces. Preparing it to head off to its awesome destination, a just beautiful ‘66 Coronet of Chris Berend’s.
Ben the builder did his usual fantastic work, as did Richie who we worked with to get it on the dyno, the new Terminator X, harness tweaked to be plug in play for Chris and tested. On the 2nd and 3rd pull, it was right where it should be, so we pulled it off to get ready for the trip to Chris and his ‘66.
For less than $30k, supercharger to pan, easily controlled with its mechanical throttle body and blower bypass with a simple and very effective Holley Terminator X system. This is the same package
Mike Schaefer has been out running 7s in his ‘68 Dart with, for a good bit now, showing the rest of us how to do it.
We are so excited to see this one go to work and most importantly, to help make Chris’ G3 Hemi powered dream come true, better yet, in a ‘66 Coronet, one of my personal all time favorites.
