Our 1600HP Race Spec Engine going in a Dragster!!
We are so, so looking forward to the 2025 race season, where we will be engaged in wide array of G3 Hemi powered dream making across many, many race efforts.
Today, thrilled to share that the first of our Blackbird Performance 1,600+ HP Race Spec engines, will be going in the beautiful NHRA Top Dragster of Kevin Burnett.
We met him at a the NHRA Division race in Brainerd this year, and of course, when we saw his Whipple SuperchargersG3 Hemi powered entrant, had to go check it out.
After a bit of dragster engine reconfiguration, we’ll be shipping his engine soon and supporting he and his team’s effort to go chase that Division 5 Top Dragster points championship. We will help him dial it in so the G3 Hemi powered machine can run right at (or below, for some fun) the 6.10 minimum ET, approaching 220 MPH.
An important effort in our broader mission to bring G3 Hemi goodness, far and wide, reliably and cost effectively.
