Blackbird Performance Products introduces a Power Steering Reservoir Lift kit.
If you need or want it to lift your power steering reservoir (of this type) to clear ours or other aftermarket valve covers. You simply drain and remove the reservoir, slide in the fitting extension, the 3 spacers and bolt it back on with the 3 included M6 bolts.
In the sale of both our billet and now cast valve covers, which are pretty similar geometry wise, a few of our customers with certain G3 Hemi model and year combinations equipped with hydraulic assist power steering ran into clearance issues with our slightly taller valve covers and their factory equipped power steering reservoir (as an example in some 2019 Hellcats).
One solution derived by smart folks installing them was to remove that system and revert to a power steering pump with the factory style reservoir integrated with the inner fender mounted coolant tank. This approach uses all factory parts but takes some work and older factory part finding.
The second solution, developed by the sharp guys at True Street Performance, and a big thanks for it, the prototypes, the test installs and a sketch to make more goes to Jim Koutsoubis and his team. An even bigger thank you to them for agreeing to let us make more and sell them.
