A Busy & Productive Week!
It’s been a very busy and productive week at Horsepower Haven and Blackbird Performance, getting 3 horses and 4 cars, ready to race.
Once we had them all setup and fired up, Keaton Vester and I were off to see how they’d do where they were built to run, the race track.
First to Beechbend Dragway and the NMCA race to try to help understand and overcome the teething problems of Marc Heidings and Margie Drag Pak, we even took old Blackbird apart and used a couple parts in the understanding journey. As we left to go see Jena Turk and Kaydence Grant make the other horsepower run, I think we were starting to get a handle on it.
Having made it up to the Gordyville USA arena late night / early AM, as the sun came up at another race venue, we were able to see the real horse power of Horsepower Haven compete this morning, and do a fair bit of winning.
It’s a fast paced, very busy and blessed life, full of good people, pursuing their passions and what they love. So greatly appreciate being able to be a small part of them.
