A Change of Direction
The list of cool and potentially G3 Hemi game expanding things Blackbird Performance is blessed to be part of, keeps growing.
This is a bit of a direction change in this program. A project and program we were always excited to have partnered with PMR on, from the start when Paul showed up with a body in white ‘21 Challenger. Of course Paul Rossi and his fabulous wheel standing Challenger, remains the inspiration in the program, and theme on the car.
But instead of some more 7 second runs in Super Stock, we are now going to take an all steel Challenger, hunting 6s, and more importantly, round wins, within the confines of NHRA Competition Eliminator rules, which constrain potential (like you pay 7.5lbs for every cubic inch, you have to use a 3.0l Whipple, etc.) but still allow a lot more freedom to innovate, legally.
The potential in 2026, expanding and making G3 Hemi dreams come true, just keeps getting better!
