A New Kind of Horsepower for Jena!
JENA’S RACE RIDE STARTER CAR ARRIVES!
With our early exit in Indy, we headed back to the shop to work some parts orders yesterday.
But today, today was a BIG DAY as we went to pickup the Blackbird Performance boss’ FIRST race car, or what we hope will be a good start for her first competitive race ride.
She has always loved the ‘70s ‘Cudas and now she owns one. A good bit of work to come, with a refresh of the chassis and a G3 Hemi between its fenders. We have plenty to do but can’t wait until we get her race ride ready and see her make that first pass in it.
If you’d ever seen this woman hit the line, off the starting light tree in Appaloosa horse on horse events, or blow clays out of the air as they have barely left the trap house or maintain control of a 1,300 lb animal sliding around or rearing up… you’d probably guess with me she might just get pretty good at this new game.
We are so looking forward to finding out. Better get busy, we’ve got another G3 Hemi powered dream to help make happen.
