When Keaton Vester and I began working together at Blackbird Performance, it was Kevin Braun’s trust in us to complete his Drag Pak build that really started it all.
Today, we could not be happier for how it went for he and his team at Brainerd International Raceway.
It’s a little unusual for a guy to bring a new car out to his first NHRA race and on his 5th full pass put it on the pole as the #1 qualifier in a highly competitive Super Stock field. Even more extraordinary that they go on to win class and a Wally…but that’s what this awesome group of Canadians got done today.
Looking forward to them continuing to make progress the remainder of the event and to the many more Wallys we hope he and his team go on to win with this awesome race car!
