Another great day of Testing at BES!
Another fantastic day working with the extraordinary team BES Racing Engines, where we work hard and learn a lot.
Here’s what we learned:
1. Cam events and their timing matters, of course we knew that but learning exactly what this platform and these combinations want is fascinating.
2. Ingesting alcohol may have various, nefarious effects on your body, but letting your race car drink it, has a lot of benefits, like in this 392 based G3 Hemi 700+ combination, all things equal and adjusting the raw results (see pics below), like 30 HP down low and about 10 HP up top.
3. The little 392 NA that could, as hoped, made it over 700+ HP safely.
We will now sell and are a dealer for the ATM and GetM carburetors that we tested and worked so well. We will add the specific ones we used to our website in the near future but can get you any of their carbs at a great price.
We can’t wait to get this thing to Mark Dudley Jr. , so he can get it in his bracket warrior Duster and show us what it’ll do, turning on win lights.
More NA fun to come as the next round we intend to leap frog up to the 900+ level, so stay tuned.
