Blackbird Performance Adds New Engine Dyno for Gen 3 Hemi Development
In the life of a guy who loves making engines better, race cars faster and making them win; and for a business that’s entire aim is making G3 Hemi powered dreams come true, in fact, to help G3 Hemi the World… it’s a very good day when you get your own dyno. To be clear, we will still be spending a ton of time with the dream team at BES Racing Engines but this gives us the ability to do even more R&D and be more efficient with our partners at BES to pump out even more Race Spec engines, all of which are dyno tested and tuned.
A huge thank you to our buddy Trevor at Get’M carbs for letting us know this new, never run, 2,000+ HP unit was available, and with Kevin Hamilton’s help, we already have a new YourDyno control, data acquisition, control valve, 8 O2 CAN system upgrades to go with our existing Plex Cylinder Pressure / High speed acquisition system, along with a straight drive arrangement. Another huge thanks to Chris Larsen, Mr. Jet Car himself for selling it to us and Jeff Keen giving it a ride here from Florida on his way to pick up their car.
