Blackbird Performance Powered ULTRA STREET Racing Program Has Begun!

We are totally stoked to be working with Michael Judd on his race program. His G3 Hemi powered dream is a very pretty Duster, which he and others have worked hard to make a very competitive 26” x 8.5”, championship winning small tire car. It will now soon become an Ultra Street car. He’s gone as fast as 4.58 with his BBM turbo in the car, we’ll need to find more to play this game.

Keaton Vester and I went over to eastern KY to check it out and take him some parts for initial fit up. Turkuila Sunrise, the engine we will use as a base starting point, is assembled and ready to go back on the engine dyno to test / tune up for a starting point in this program. Of course, in Ultra trim, we have a host of new things we can do.

We can’t wait to see this thing run but, we honestly are even more excited to HEAR it run…why, one word, something in all my years of drag racing I’ve always wanted …ZOOMIES !!!!

We will hopefully see 4.5s soon to get us rolling.
