Dyno Testing a Race Spec 600+ HP Gen 3 Hemi for a ’78 Dodge Warlock
Another great day at the G3 Hemi horsepower factory, as we dyno tested a Race Spec 600+ HP Gen 3 Hemi destined for a very cool ’78 Dodge Warlock build, with a huge thanks to the always awesome team at BES Racing Engines for letting us once again, squeeze one in on their dyno as ours is progressing towards operational.
Michael Wiener was all over it and on the throttle as we made quick work of a few checkout pulls on this Race Spec 600+ EFI engine.
The two Blackbird Performance Keatons must have done a good job screwing it together as with an easy tune on its 3rd full pull, it was right where it should be.
It’ll come off the dyno and head to its new home in Washington, where it’s going in a so very, very cool survivor ‘78 Warlock of Joey Keating’s at Mukeltio Powder Coating. We can’t wait to see it run in this unique and awesome ride. Thanks to Joey for letting us help him with his soon to be G3 Hemi powered dream.
We are heading south tomorrow to see if we can’t help another Band of Hemi Brothers and Sisters, dial in his significantly higher powered race ride.
