Dyno Testing at BES: 1,650+ HP Dakota Pro Stock Engine and 600+ HP Pump Gas Gen 3 Hemi

We finished up our tweaks on the Race Spec 1,650+ (1,700 ish) Engine for the Dakota Pro Stock truck, now can’t wait to hear in run in chassis.
We swapped engines on the dyno and tested another of the pump gas, in this case carbureted, Race Spec 600+ engines that Keaton and Keaton put together. We hooked up the Blackbird Performance Afterburner Ignition and a few pulls later, with a very safe for 93 pump gas timing curve, it was right where it ought to be. It’ll be headed to its new home in Texas soon. All new stuff, with BBP Race Prep CNC heads that’ll support far more power down the road, carb to pan, including the ignition control, $12,900.
Time to get the big power blown engine back to the home shop and get to work on the expanding world of G3 Hemi powered dreams.
