Dyno Testing a 1,650+ HP Supercharged Gen 3 Hemi for AJ Rockwell’s Dakota Pro Stock Truck
What better way to ring in the new year than with ringing out some more G3 Hemi horsepower and the resulting ringing in our ears from listening to it at full song.
Another great day of learning how to make these things sing, this one, another Race Spec 1,650+, built on the awesome, rock solid foundation of an Energy Manufacturing / Callies Aluminum block (120+ lbs lighter than other G3 aftermarket iron blocks), Callies Magnum crank, Callies Ultra Rods, Blackbird Performance (BBP) Race Prep New Factory Casting Hellcat Redeye cylinder heads, BBP Mach 4 Solid Roller Camshaft, BBP Billet Phaserless Timing Set, BBP Blower Drive Billet Front Cover and an old trusty tuned up Whipple 3.0l supercharger.
It’s close to home, but I didn’t like the way it ran upstairs so we will tweak the valvetrain setup a bit, and run it again before it makes it’s way to the nearly ready to rock, AJ Rockwell’s Dakota Pro Stock truck. It ought to fly.
We also worked a bit on products still in the Skunk Works.
And of course, there was Skyline.
